Special Aerothermal

One of the requirements when designing Sky Hill Village was to have a perfectly air-conditioned and energy efficient space, and the solution is called Aerotermia.

Air Conditioning and DHW Systems with Aerothermics

Aerothermics is a clean technology that extracts energy from the air.

It is a system that transforms the temperature of the air into energy, thanks to an electrical energy support and a heat exchanger.

It is sustainable heating. Aerothermal technology is saving because with 1 Kw of energy consumed we can produce and deliver up to 4 Kw for household consumption (COP 4), depending on external conditions. The heat pump transports AEROTHERMIC energy, which it obtains from the air to cover the demand of the installation. The air sucked in by the fan transfers the heat it contains to the refrigerant in the evaporator. This increases its temperature, passes through the compressor, and transfers the heat to the storage tank.

Underfloor Heating and Fancoil Air-Conditioning Systems

Underfloor heating systems have been designed as an alternative to traditional radiator systems, providing greater energy savings and a higher degree of comfort inside the home. The air-conditioning system uses the floor of the house as an emitting element. The basic principle of operation of the system consists of pumping water at a medium temperature (around 35/40ºC) through pipe circuits that are embedded in a layer of cement mortar on which the final flooring is laid. In winter, the mortar absorbs the heat dissipated by the pipes and transfers it to the upper floor, which in turn emits this energy to the walls and ceiling of the room. Underfloor heating and air-conditioning systems in combination with renewable energy sources such as aerothermal energy can achieve great savings in energy and CO2 emissions.

CONFORT
They provide total comfort due to the absence of too hot or too cold bulbs. In addition, they do not generate draughts and are therefore completely silent.

SAVING

Working with low temperature water improves the performance of the energy generating system. Savings of up to 90 % combined with the use of renewable energy sources are therefore achieved.

HYGIENE AND SAFETY

Because there are no draughts, the circulation of dust and dust mites, which are so harmful to allergy sufferers, is reduced.

AESTHETICS AND SPACE

As there are no heat emitters next to the wall, the rooms are unobstructed. Increases the usable space of the home.

MAINTENANCE

Maintenance as well as the possibility of breakdowns are much lower.
